conservation parkOn Friday we went to the conservation park. We were looking for mammals but we did not find any so we looked for droppings but we did not find any. We did see a nice big white sea  eagle when we were walking on the path it was just above us. We saw lots of caterpillars and spit fires most of them where died. We saw a black crow and a will wag tail and I saw murrey magpie. We found a butterfly and we found a mushroom they where poisons.

Dr Joshua's trip to the beach.

Today our class walked down to the beach to observe all of the animals that we saw. While we were there we saw 30 crabs most of them were little. We also saw lots of cuttlefish backbones and we saw one cuttlefish but it was dead then we through it in the water and the current took it back to the sea. We also saw two sea eagles chasing each other. After that we saw lots of sea jelly eggs. I saw a funny coloured little something. We also made the crabs have a wrestling match. Chris Wenham came as well on our trip to the beach. There were lots of sand flies Saxon, Cameron and Daniel were running in front of them and making them fly onto other rocks. Then Saxon supposedly saw a dolphin in the water. We also saw 1 pilchard. After that we walked back to school when we got back to school recess had just finished.

Pond

Dr Joshua's trip to the pond.

Today I went to the Duck pond I saw Lots of different ducks some were white But most of them were brown. We went to the duck pond to see if we could catch any yabbies. The only way we caught the yabbies is by looking under rocks and catching them with our hands. I caught 1 yabby with my hands. I also saw lots of caterpillars they were all hairy caterpillars. The yabbies scientific name is (Cherax Albidus). The yabbies have 6 legs. The males live for 1 year and the females live for 7 years. The main colours for the common yabby are green brown or blue.

  Dear Mr Paul Megson

Hi I am Dr Alyce I am the worlds best Filled Biologist. I am from Americas University.

I have been set a task from the world Heritage parks to come to your school and all around Hallett Cove to study all the native animals that you have in your suburb. My assistances and myself will base the project at your school. So could I please have permission to have a period of eight weeks to study all of the animals around your school you and your school must be proud.
