As part of the "Refining The Future Project" students at Hallett Cove South Primary are in regular Email contact with the Sea River Mediterranean and its Crew. We can ask the crew all sorts of questions about ships, oil production, geography and life aboard a ship that travels the world. In our classrooms we track the Oil Tanker as it travels around the world. From our school grounds we can see the Sea River Mediterranean as it comes to unload its cargo at near by Port Stanvac. When the Sea River Mediterranean  and crew are visiting Port Stanvac they come and visit the students and we are able to ask questions in real life about their voyages! We follow up information provided with studies in Art, Science, Maths, Literacy and Society / Environment. Parents are kept informed via the school newsletter and this website.
