Students worked in collaborative groups of five, assuming specific role perspectives of an extended family. They were allowed a budget of $5000 to arrange a family holiday for five people. The ‘family’ wishes to go on a holiday of between 3 and 7 days and can select a destination of their choosing (within the constraints of their budget). All members of the ‘family’ had different needs that should have been taken into consideration when selecting a destination, accommodation and attractions.
At the conclusion of their planning, the ‘family’ constructed an interactive web site presentation to the whole class to demonstrate that their holiday destination has met the design criteria including the budget. Click on the buttons below to view the groups website presentations
