Task

In term 4 2004 you will be studying the topic of rice. In groups you will produce a display to showcase your work. Some classes will also design a website on the topic of rice.

2. Inspiration: Produce an Inspiration mind map of the topics associated with rice.
3. Introducing rice: What is rice? How is it grown? What is its lifecycle? What is the rice grain?
4. History of rice: Investigate the history of rice?
5. Rice and culture: The relationship between rice and people has inspired songs, paintings, festivals and stories. Research this topic and share your findings.
6. Geography Rice is produced all around the globe from Nepal which has the highest rice lands in the word, to Australia which has the most productive rice lands. Choose two rice producing countries and compare how they grow rice. Visit the following website for help  Geography of production
